GO GREEN on Your Next Vacation This eco-friendly villa is made of the highly sustainable grass, bamboo. It is made of a special bamboo grown specifically for use as a building material. This home was first constructed in Vietnam, disassembled, shipped to Kauai and reassembled at this location. Bamboo is used for its strength and resistance to insects, which can damage even the hardest woods. This amazing grass can grow up to 4 feet per day, so it is an excellent renewable resource. Enjoy your time in this environmentally-friendly abode and know you are helping to preserve this beautiful planet we call home.
The Beaches
The Tropical Bamboo Hideaway is just across the street from a long stretch of golden beach that extends over two miles…perfect for sunning, strolls and beachcombing. Look to your left and see the world famous Bali Hai and just a few minutes away are some of the best swimming and snorkeling beaches on the island, including Tunnels and Ke’e beach at the end of the road where you will find the gateway to the Kalalau Trail to start a hike of the Na Pali coast.
Unique Bamboo Villa
This bamboo hideaway is perched high amongst the trees and sits against Kauai’s lush landscape, so from inside you get all of the beauty of the tropics as well as constant breezes from the ocean across the street. The villa was imported from Vietnam and is made entirely of bamboo. Its unique construction makes it feel as though you are living in a piece of art; yet this romantic villa has modern amenities and recently updated decor. This home has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a sleeping loft that seeps one comfortably. The master suite features a tropical view, king bed and a private bathroom with spacious shower. The second bedroom and bath have partial ocean views. The bedroom includes a queen bed and a bathroom just outside its door that includes a soaking tub.

This property provides a truly authentic Hawaiian vacation experience; yet has all of the modern amenities and updated décor its visitor’s desire. You will find unqiue island treasures and artwork around every corner. This villa has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, comfortable furniture, modern decor, recently updated bathrooms, front-loading washer and dryer and overall surroundings that will keep you relaxing at home as much as on the beach. Every room is bright with large windows and doors on every exterior wall. The wrap around lani stretches the perimeter of the entire villa making outside living as attractive as inside. Sit on the lanai and gaze at the ocean through the tropical landscape and enjoy the lush foliage that surrounds the home. You will know you are in the tropics!
Na Pali Coast is 5 Minutes North
The fabled Na Pali Coast with its magnificent 3,000 foot high emerald green cliffs above the Pacific and waterfalls that cascade down in to the blue water make it a spectacular place. You can take a boat trip, kayak (in the Summer) or hike the trail into the famous Kalalau Valley. And from the Villa to the Na Pali Coast, be sure to try all of the white sand beaches along the way…Ha’ena State Park where the waves are fun, Tunnels where you can watch the “tunnels” created by ancient lava and Ke’e, where you can snorkel with the turtles.
Historic Hanalei Town is 10 Minutes South
Historic Hanalei Town is the most authentic Hawaiian village on the island and boasts fine restaurants, quaint boutiques, beach activities, equipment rentals as well as other popular services. You will also find the world renowned Hanalei Bay – the gorgeous half moon bay where you can swim, boogie board and surf.
